Connect is the high school youth ministry at ABT and is lead by Youth Pastor Jason Knight & his wife Valerie.

In Connect we strive to create an atmosphere that is welcoming for everyone, especially visitors and friends! We challenge our students to "connect" with the creator of the universe through a personal relationship with Him! Our Sunday mornings have a relaxed vibe- we take time to get to know each other. Our teaching is designed help students to make their relationship with Christ real and to help make the Bible relevant to apply to their everyday lives.

Wednesday Night PLUG IN is our mid-week time to get together. Now featuring “Gladiator Games". There will be events and games each week, a short challenge and awesome food!

We believe that serving is a vital part of spiritual growth, so our students are encouraged to help in various areas of the church including Children's MInistries, dramas, working in our ABT Cafe's, worship team, and more.

Every summer students have the opportunity to change the world through a short term mission trip. In 2008 we traveled to the Bahamas, in June of 2009 & 2011we stayed in Connect for a week of mission work in our home town of Akron, Ohio! In 2010 we went to Oceana, WV to help with a VBS and in 2012 we're headed to the UK with LIFT Ministries!

Don’t forget the fun! We have regular activities planned monthly such as all-nighters, the Alive Festival, youth conferences, Cedar Point, bonfires and more. Join us as we walk together toward a stronger connection with God. We’d love to meet you!
