All of us face challenging times in our lives. There are even times when we can feel a bit lost; we may even feel like life is not turning out the way we had hoped. If we take time to think about it, we may get honest enough to admit that we just have not yet found what we are looking for.

When those moments arrive, one thing is certain. You will never find what you are looking for unless you look for it in the right place. Good intentions and determined actions alone are not enough. We need a map that clearly spells out the best path to what our heart needs.

Our April series, LOOKING, will help us focus in on what’s important in life and show us how to look in the right place for the things that matter most in life.

APRIL 8  | Looking Up

APRIL 15 | Looking Forward
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
Philippians 3:13

APRIL 22 | Looking Humanly
What sorrow awaits those who look to Egypt for help, trusting their horses, chariots, and charioteers and depending on the strength of human armies instead of looking to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 31:1

APRIL 29 | Looking Purposely
You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty.
Ezekiel 34:4
