Sweetheart Dinner 2017

The annual Sweet Heart dinner will be held in Real Families on February 25 at 6pm. This event is catered by the Connect High School students and all proceeds will be going to Mission Akron 2017. Cost of the event will be $25 a couple and will include lasagna dinner, salad and desert. Come support this great event.

ALL IN for Jesus

ALL IN for Jesus! Why does it seem that so many people who call themselves Christians have so little in common with Jesus? Hypocrites in the church are giving Jesus a bad name. Without a doubt that is why Mahatma Gandhi said,  “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” At ABT we want to change that perception. So we have focused our attention on what it means to be an authentic ALL IN Christian. We want to be people who look like Christ in our character and actions. Salvation is a free gift. We receive this precious gift unaware of what it fully means to have a faithful relationship with God through Jesus Christ. As we grow, we discover the depth of His love for us. As we do, we find that there will be a moment when we affirm what He has done for us by declaring we are ALL IN for Him. This declaration does not take place at our spiritual birth, but will emerge as we become aware of how much He has done for us. Nothing less than being ALL IN for Him is acceptable as  we truly understand His love and passion for us.
