Helping Hands Care Ministry

The Helping Hands Ministry center provides food and clothing to people of all backgrounds who are experiencing hard times, not only in the community but also in the church.

Prior to “going shopping” or receiving their items people are greeted at the door (many by name) and registered for that day. Many people bring their children with them due to the fact we believe in and cherish their young lives and want to convey to them the love of God and a message of hope. They also have free reign to the candy dish on top of the desk, and access to the kids room (smaller children) on the grounds filled with toys, games and Biblical thematic pictures etc.

A brief challenge (12-15 minutes) is given from the Bible and an invitation is always presented. Folks have about a half hour to select items they can use, after which they have loaded into a shopping cart are given over $30.00 worth of food and personal items.

The following days and times are when we have workers available to help unload any donations you would like to drop off at the church:

• Monday work day (items can be dropped off during this time) 11:00am – 2:00pm

• Wednesday work day (items can be dropped off during this time) 4:00pm – 6:30pm. Service time is 5:30pm- 6:30pm

• Friday work day (items can be dropped of during this time) 12:00pm – 2:30pm. Service time is 1:30pm
